OHannah House Ministries

Mission Statement: provide a safe and affordable group home to women,
and especially those who have young children, and are low income,
homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Areas of Ministry:
• Board Member: determines goals and directs paths for organization
• House Manager: manages house & residents, communicates with OHM, landlords
• Advocate/Mentor: shepherds and mentors residents
• Public Relations: Newsletters & video presentations, attends Project Share Meetings
• Fundraising Coordinator: Kitsap Great Give, NW Hospitality, Rummage Sales
• Movers: coordinates vehicles and labor for moving furniture, appliances, etc
• Nutrition and Cooking: provide instruction for meal preparation, shopping
• Financial Counselor: provides basic financial counseling (checking acct, budget, etc)
• Health Ministry: nurses providing blood pressure checks, etc
• Employment Advocate: assists residents in job search, applications, interviews, etc
• House Maintenance Team: provides basic house maintenance and repairs
• Auto Maintenance Team: provides basic car maintenance and repairs
• Young Mothers Mentor: coordinates with CareNet for young mothers
• Pregnancy Advocate: coordinates with CareNet in care of pregnant mothers
• Website Manager: develop and maintains website
• Facebook Manager: develop and maintains OHM Facebook page
• Grant Writer: identifies, applies for and tracks grants
• Accounting and Bookkeeping: maintains financial records
